As the press service of the Ministry of Health reports, since December 13, 2022, a 25-year-old woman living in the Guliston mahalla of the Uchkurgan district, Namangan region, visited the children’s department of the district medical association, where she treated her son. He was 2.5 years old.
After there were no changes, on December 16, the child was taken to the Namangan regional branch of the Republican Scientific Center for Emergency Medical Care. Despite the medical assistance provided, on December 21, 2022, the child died.
According to the Namangan Regional Health Department, the patient was under treatment with a diagnosis of severe pneumonia, functional indigestion, dyspepsia and hypovolemia.
As the mother said, the child was given the Doc-1 Max drug at home. The deceased child was the only child of his mother.
It should be recalled that on December 27, the former head of the Ministry of Health Behzod Musayev expressed his condolences to the parents of 18 children who died after using the Doc-1 Max drug.
Later it became known that in the Kashkadarya region, a one-year-old child died as a result of the use of the Doc-1 Max drug.
In addition, a child from the Zarbdar district of Jizzakh region could have died in one of the hospitals in Tashkent as a result of the use of the Doc-1 Max drug. However, the case in the capital has not been officially confirmed.
Thus, in Uzbekistan, the number of children who died after taking the Doc-1 Max drug reached 20.
