AKIPRESS.COM – Chair of the Parliament’s Senate of Uzbekistan Tanzila Narbayeva met with a delegation from the Parliament of Slovakia led by Speaker of the National Council Boris Kollár, UzA reported.
The parties discussed the current state and prospects of relations between Uzbekistan and Slovakia, in particular the issues of further developing cooperation between the parliaments of the two countries. It was noted that both countries have sufficient potential to bring all areas of cooperation to a new level, including in trade, investment, cultural and humanitarian spheres.
Chair Tanzila Narbayeva emphasized the consistent development of inter-parliamentary relations and its contribution to enhancing cooperation between Uzbekistan and Slovakia.
Boris Kollár noted with satisfaction that Uzbekistan has achieved progressive democratic reforms, and has a worthy and strong place in the world community. He also supported strengthening the powers of Uzbekistan’s Parliament in the process of constitutional reforms.
Views were exchanged between representatives of relevant committees of parliaments on constant interaction in trade, economics, investment, innovation, banking, financial, tourism, cultural, humanitarian and other fields.
