September 2023 will include two firsts for the U.S. men’s national team. The USMNT on Thursday announced its two opponents for the FIFA-recognized international break in September: Uzbekistan and Oman. It will mark the USMNT’s first ever time playing each country, making them the 101st and 102nd opponents of the program. Uzbekistan will be the first opponent on Saturday, Sept. 9. ASTANA – The Central Trans-Caspian Network, traversing through southern Kazakhstan, is the most sustainable option for forging the links between Central Asia and Europe, increasing container volume from 18,000 twenty-foot equivalent units (TEU) in 2022 to 130,000 TEUs by 2040, according to the European Union (EU) and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) Study on Sustainable Transport Connections between Europe and Central Asia. Cambodia is preparing for the 2023 Southeast Asian Games, which will take place from May 5 to 17. The event in 2023 will be the 32nd in the games series. It will be held in Phnom Penh for the first time, marking the first time Cambodia has hosted the event. Over 7,000 participants from all 11 Southeast Asian countries are expected, and over 40 games will be played during the event. Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Pakistan, Oybek Arif Usmanov has said that bilateral trade volume between Pakistan and Uzbekistan had reached over $250 million by the end of 2022 and both countries were focusing on exploring more avenues of trade and investments in multiple sectors to enhance trade.
