Deputy Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade of Uzbekistan Badriddin Abidov supported the idea of creation of alternative logistical routes with the Eurasian Economic Union member states.
He voiced his position at the meeting of the joint working group with participation of Eurasian Economic Commission’s Minister Sergey Glaziev in Samarkand.
The leader of the delegation of Uzbekistan noted a great potential of the EAEU’s Eurasian Agroexpress Project and suggested establishment of partnerships between universities with the purpose of training of qualified engineers and technicians for the industry.
“It is great that a new track between Uzbekistan and the Eurasian Economic Union is developing – cooperation between business circles. Business ties are the basis for promotion of trade and economic cooperation,” Badriddin Abidov said.
Attendees of the meeting discussed development of the North-South international transport corridor, Eurasian Agroexpress project, digitalization of railway transportation.
